Teamsters Don't Cross Picket Lines, Stand Firm With the UAW
Teamsters Local 455 Stands with our striking UAW Brothers and Sisters. Here's how to show your support.

When Teamsters Local 455 UPS feeder driver Donnie Jarosak saw his load of engines and auto parts was headed for the Chrysler Training Center Tuesday, he told management straight up, "I cannot deliver this. I'm not crossing a picket line." So he didn't and dropped the load on the street outside -- to applause and celebration from his United Auto Worker brothers and sisters.
Jarosak, a 16-year UPS employee, was raised in a union household, and learned the first principle of trade unionism: Teamsters don't cross picket lines.
"It would be betraying my brothers and sisters," Jarosak said. "We need to stick together. I'm very proud of what I did. It felt very good to see the UAW members' react."
UAW members have been on strike since Sept. 15 for fair compensation in light of the automakers' enormous profits that have not been passed on the men and women who build the vehicles.
Want to show your support for our UAW brothers and sisters in their fight for justice with the Big Three automakers?
Here's how:
- Join our brothers and sisters on the picket line. UAW picket lines are up at General Motors' Denver Parts Distribution center, 23400 E. Smith Road, Aurora, CO, 80019; and the Stellantis factory, 10728 Troy St., Commerce City, CO, 80022. Picket lines are in place from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
